ThunderFest is a fun-filled hoedown celebrating community, culture, and connection. This dynamic event brings together people of all ages for an unforgettable day of hands-on horse interactions, pottery workshops, live music, and so much more—all while raising awareness and funds for Oxford County HART Hub Initiative.

MEET THE TEAM

Alisha is a proud local Oxford County resident, business owner of Transitions, and the host and creator of ThunderFest, which is named after her 7 year old Quarter Horse gelding, Thunder.

Happily married for 19 years and mom of two wonderful teenagers, Alisha is deeply connected to her community. Having seen first-hand how homelessness and addiction can impact lives, she felt compelled to support the Oxford County HART Hub Initiative when it was announced.

ThunderFest was born out of her desire to make a meaningful difference, bringing people together for a fun, impactful event that supports those in need of homelessness, addiction recovery, and treatment services.

Holly Jo is the local business owner of The Kiln Room in Woodstock and the co-creator of ThunderFest. With a passion for creativity, she offers ceramic courses, creative workshops (15+), and a handmade boutique that showcases her artistic vision.

Along with her partner and their adorable dog, Holly Jo is proud to call Oxford County home. Her dedication to fostering community and supporting local causes makes her the perfect partner in bringing ThunderFest to life, celebrating connection, creativity, and giving back to those in need.
