A Reiki Experience with Horses

Horses intuitively recognize blocks in our physical bodies and auric fields. They can help move the energy, releasing repressed emotions and old patterns. They are considered symbols of the attainment of wealth and high rank, and in many ancient cultures, horses were gifted to emperors and kings because they are symbols of triumph and success.

Your Reiki practitioner will introduce you to the herd and you will choose a horse to stay present during your reiki session. During your session, your chosen horse will free roam close by while soft, soothing music plays. Your chosen horse and practitioner will help provide a potential relief of anxiety and fatigue, a boost in your mood, a relaxed and peaceful feeling, and a sense of calm and self connection.

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing one’s attention to the present moment. This involves being aware of your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment without judgement.

Horses are excellent partners to help us be in the moment as they are naturally aware and encourage thoughtful participation.
