ThunderFest is a fun-filled hoedown celebrating community, culture, and connection. This dynamic event brings together people of all ages for an unforgettable day of hands-on horse interactions, pottery workshops, live music, and so much more—all while raising awareness and funds to help make our equine-assisted programs more accessible to those who need them most.

Enjoy live music and exciting activities like bounce houses, line dancing instruction, and a photo booth, all set in a rustic country atmosphere. Delight in delicious food and beverages catered by a local brewery, while browsing local vendors offering unique goods.

ThunderFest is the perfect place to make memories, celebrate togetherness, and support accessible, life-changing experiences for our community. Don’t miss out on the fun—join us for ThunderFest and help make a difference!

MEET THE TEAM

Alisha is a proud local Oxford County resident, Founder and Operations Manager of Transitions, and the host and creator of ThunderFest, named after her 8-year-old Quarter Horse gelding, Thunder.

Happily married for 20 years and mom of two wonderful teenagers, Alisha is deeply connected to her community. Having seen first-hand the profound impact horses can have—both on her own life and on the lives of those in her community—she is inspired to help this vision grow.

ThunderFest was born from her desire to make a meaningful difference, creating a fun, inclusive event that brings people together while supporting accessible equine-assisted programs for those who need them most.
