Cancellation Policy<\/span><\/h1>\n

Payment is due at time of booking<\/span>. <\/b><\/font>All Ticket Sales are final<\/span>.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

In the event of <\/span>inclement weather<\/b><\/span>, we will reschedule for a time that best suits your schedule.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Camp Guidelines & Refund Policy<\/p>\n<\/h1>\n

+I give <\/span>permission for Transitions Acres to communicate with the email listed on this<\/span> <\/span><\/span>application electronically. This includes confirmation of registration, list of what to bring, and future updates or events at <\/span>Transitions Acres<\/span>. Please ensure that our email address is added to your address book to prevent missed emails.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+The parent\/guardian submitting this application has legal custody of the camper. <\/span>If conditions to custody are applicable, this needs to be communicated in writing to <\/span>Transitions Acres<\/span> along with a copy of any court order referring to visitation rights.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+Transitions Acres reserves the right to dismiss a camper who, in the Leader’s <\/span>opinion, is a threat to the safety and rights of others or themselves, or who <\/span>appears to have rejected the reasonable controls of Transitions Acres. This includes <\/span>behavior which places unacceptable constraints upon the staff and their <\/span>responsibilities towards other campers. This could include sitting out for an <\/span>activity, to a complete dismissal. If a camper is asked to not return or is dismissed early for any reason, the parent\/guardian is responsible to pick up that camper, and no refund will be issued.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+If the camper has any physical, emotional, developmental or behavioral needs, <\/span>particularly if it is a condition that would require special attention or exclude the camper from any camp activity, describe fully in an email to us<\/span>. Transitions Acres retains the right to dismiss any camper whose <\/span>condition has not been fully disclosed during the application process.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+Parent\/Guardians are fully responsible for any willful damages caused by their <\/span>camper.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+I authorize Transitions Acres personnel to handle any First Aid or general <\/span>sickness with my child during his\/her day at camp. In the event that a camper requires medical treatment beyond that which is possible at <\/span>Transitions Acres<\/span> or 911 services, every reasonable attempt will be made to notify the parent(s)\/guardian as quickly as possible. Parent\/guardian will be responsible for transportation to, and\/or additional care expenses at a hospital.<\/span><\/h6>\n
+I understand and accept that Transitions Acres summer camp 2026 may require <\/span>adjustments due to the ever-changing nature of the COVID19 pandemic. This could impact health protocols and include activity adjustments.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+I am aware of the risks and hazards with respect to COVID19 and my camper\u2019s <\/span>participation in camp. I voluntarily assume the risks with respect to COVID19, that may arise due to our participation in camp, including, but not limited to, the active or passive negligence of the staff or owners of Transitions Acres.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n
+<\/span>I confirm that the undersigned is <\/span>covered by Provincial Health Insurance or equivalent medical insurance prior to arrival at camp and it must extend throughout their entire time at camp.<\/span><\/h6>\n
CANCELLATION POLICY<\/span> – If you choose to cancel your registration before July 1,
<\/span>2026, a refund minus a $150 administration fee will be issued. After July 1, 2026,
<\/span>there will be no refund for cancellations made. Campers may move to an earlier
<\/span>week than currently registered, however moving to a later week is not permitted.<\/span><\/h6>\n
+Fees are not transferable to any other camper.<\/span><\/h6>\n
+No refund will be made for dismissal due to disciplinary action, late arrival, early
<\/span>departures, lice, homesickness, a one-on-one requirement, or sickness of any
<\/span>kind. All refunds will be processed sometime in September.<\/span><\/h6>\n
COVID19 CANCELLATION POLICY – If Transitions Acres should be required to cancel <\/span>camp due to COVID19 or government regulations, there would be a credit applied to your account to be used later in the season. Should the season be cancelled, <\/span>the credit will roll over to Summer 2027.<\/span> <\/span><\/h6>\n

Behavioral, Physical or Medical Support Policy<\/span><\/p>\n

Campers participate in small groups that are supervised by our staff and volunteers. A camper who finds group participation challenging (EX: follow group <\/span>directions, making safe choices, speech, toileting, flight-risk or comprehension) is <\/span>welcome to join us at Transitions<\/span>, however we require that those campers participate <\/span>with a one-on-one worker, provided by the family. Failure to inform us <\/span>of these needs, will result in the camper requiring a one-on-one worker for the <\/span>remainder of their camp week, provided by the family. We are not <\/span>responsible if a one-on-one worker is unable to to be arranged, and a refund will <\/span>not be issued.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/h1>\n
