Martin will lead us in a practice inspired by the sweat lodge tradition\, as we connect with the energy of the full moon and give thanks for the blessings in our lives. \n\n\n \n\n\nThe full moon is seen as a time for releasing negativity and inviting healing energy. We will gather around a sacred fire\, share stories\, offer prayers of gratitude\, and participate in smudging.\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis gathering is open to all who wish to connect with the wisdom of the full moon\, experience the power of these teachings\, and embrace the opportunity for release and healing.\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease bring an open heart\n\n\n \n\n\nWe look forward to sharing this special evening with you! ✨\n\n\n \n\n\nEric G. Martin is a North American Native of the Mohawk and Chippewa tribes of Six Nations Reserve\, near Brantford\, Ontario\, Canada. His Native name is Gwiish Koshi Nodinin (Whispering Windz) member of the Bear Clan.\n\n\n \n\n\nAn artist who began stone carving in 1996\, his work includes pipe making and ink printing\, and can be found in private and public collections world-wide; most notably in Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto in their permanent viewing collection\, a wampum belt in the Harbor Village Museum Collection in Grove\, Oklahoma. His work can be found on the cover page design of Native Foods the Native Way book for the Ontario Agri-Food Education and Indian Agricultural Program of Ontario. The Six Nations Post Office uses a cancellation stamp of a Tree of Peace\, which he designed.\n\nALL ARE WELCOME! \nThere is no admission fee for this event\, but donations for our Elder are encouraged.

DESCRIPTION:In Level 1 you will be attuned to the power symbol (Cho Ku Rei) and be taught how to use it in many ways to help yourself and others. Once you have received a Reiki attunement\, you will have the ability to perform Reiki for the rest of your life. You can never lose it.\nOne day class runs from 9:30am-6:30pm \nYou will learn: \n\nHistory and benefits of Reiki\nFive Reiki principles and the Gassho meditation\nCho Ku Rei Level I power symbol\nActivation of Reiki energy\nHow to give others Reiki\nGuidelines for all Reiki sessions\nEnergy cleansing\nMeditation to meet your guides\nChakra basics and body systems\nCanadian Reiki Association Code of Conduct\, Code of Ethics and general guidelines\n​and much more….\n\n  \nThe Level I session will include a full day\, hands on learning environment\, the Reiki Level I attunement as well as practice time. You will receive a Reiki Level I Manual at the beginning of the class\, and at the end\, you will be given a course completion certificate. \n$200 +hst ** $75 deposit required at time of booking.
